Did you say conspiracy theorist? When the state, metamorphosed into an absolute monarchy, is corrupted by money, power or sex, when it mocks the common people with undisguised disdain and lies down before the ever more powerful lobbies that do not care about democracy; when society is more violent than ever, from faceless and unspoatting administrations, from public services to responders instead of the heart and the world of work ravaged by the dogma of profitability at all costs; when almost all the media in the hands of billionaires spread hatred, neoliberal propaganda, entertainment for the brainless and relay the repeated lies of our rulers and pubs and pubs and pubs…….; when more and more people are left to loneliness, poverty, the anguish of a future without a future because of climate change, the depression that sometimes leads to murderous madness and that for the reasons I have just mentioned (among others), are we not surprised that there are more and more conspiracy theorists?
